Prime numbers refer to the numbers which are only divisible by 1 and the number itself for example 7, 7 is divisible by 1 and also divisible by 7 and none other numbers.

All prime numbers are odd numbers but only 2 is an exception because even it is an even number it is considered as a prime number.
