The number which is not divisible by any number except the same number is called prime number

For example 2 is a prime number because it is only divisible by 2 but if we take 4 it is divisible by both 4 and 2 which are called composite numbers

vipul4014: is 1 a prime number
JasonJacob: No ... because 1 is neither a prime number and composite number
JasonJacob: 1 is a factor of all numbet
JasonJacob: Which is both prime and composite
JasonJacob: Mark me as brainiest
JasonJacob: please
