now which are divisible by only themselves and 1 are called prime numbers.

Eg 2,3,5,7,11

all of the above numbers are prime numbers since they aren't divisible by any other number leaving 1 and itself.

A prime numbers is a whole no, greater than 1, whose factors are 1 and itself.

for eg: 2,3,5,7,...
