I have kept ants as pets.
1. if they don't like the tank they may escape.
2. for a successful habitat they need a queen ant.
3. it is very difficult to find a queen ant.
4 you have to worry about its temperature and light constantly.
check out ants Canada in youtube for more information.
5. if u are keeping red ants you have to be very careful as it may bite.
But it it will be a very nice experience
