All divisors except one are known as proper divisors.

No. of proper divisors can be calculated by

calculating total no. of divisors -1

i.e

No. of divisors=(a+1)(b+1)(c+1)..... where a b c are powers of p q and r respectively.

where p q r are prime nos.
