  • Monera is a unicellular organism having a prokaryotic cellular structure. Cell wall is present but not well developed. They have autotrophic or heterotrophic mode of nutrition
  • Protista is a unicellular organism though possess eukaryotic cellular organization. In protista, a well-developed cell wall is present. They have a holozoic, parasitic or photosynthetic mode of nutrition.
  • They can be identified by looking at their nucleus as monerans do not possess a true nucleus whereas protists have their own nuclei, bounded with the nuclear membrane.
