Due to a phenomenon known as color confinement, quarks are never directly observed or found in isolation; they can be found only within hadrons, which exist as either baryons (which include protons and neutrons) or as mesons.

▶️ It hasn't been long time after we came to know that atom are further divided in quarks ..which are of 2 types up quark and down quark....

▶️ We came to know about it with the help of "NUCLEAR PHYSICS" , ions are bombarded with high velocity with breaks the Atom and help us to know about it..
