Rabi crops are grown in winter season ...During November to april ...It needs dry and cold climate

Example:- Gram , pea etc..


Kharif Crops are grown in rainy season.....During June to November.. It's need wet and hot climate.

Example :- rice ,whet et

➡1) Rabi crops :- The word 'Rabi' it means spring . The Rabi crops' hervesting happens in the springtime due to his name 'rabi'. Rabi crops are mainly cultivated using irrigation since, monsoons are already over by November. In fact , unseasonal showers in November or December can ruin the crops. For example :-

➡Wheat , barley , green peas and mustard

➡2) Kharif crops :- The word 'kharif' means autumn. This types of crops are coincides with the beginning of autumn or winter. These are the crops are cultivated in the monsoon season. These crops are usually shown at the beginning of the monsoon season around june and hervested by September or October.For example :-
