➡A rational number is a number that can be written in the form of a numerator upon a denominator. Here the denominator should not be equal to 0

➡A rational number is of the form  \frac{p}{q}

p = numerator, q= denominator, where p and q are integers and q ≠ 0

➡Example :-

# \frac{7}{8}

#  \frac{ \sqrt{16} }{ \sqrt{9} }

# 3 Etc

➡An irrational number is a number that is not rational that means it is a number that cannot be written in the form  \frac{p}{q}

➡It cannot be written as the ratio of two integers

➡Example :-

# π

# √2

# √3 Etc
