hii
rational numbers are those numbers which can be written in p/q form where p and q are integers and q is not equal to 0.
A number ‘s’ is called irrational, if it cannot be written in the form p/q, where p and q are integers and q ≠ 0.
You already know that there are infinitely many rationals. It turns out that there are infinitely many irrational numbers too. Some examples are:
√3,√15, π, 0.10110111011110...

RATIONAL NUMBERS : The numbers which can be written in the form of p/q , where p and q are integers and q is not equal to 0.
Ex - 0 , 1 , 1.2 etc
IRRATIONAL NUMBERS : The numbers which can not be written in the form of p/q where p and q are integers and q is not equal to 0.
Ex - root 2 , root3, root 5 etc
