what are ray rules? with diagram. what will happen to a ray which does not pass through c or f and goes and hits the mirror . where will the reflected ray go​

1) a line parallel to principal axis passes through focus after reflection.

2) a line passing through focus will be parallel to principal axis after reflection.

3) a line passing through center of curvature is undeviated after reflection.

4) a line incident to the pole after reflection reflects making angle of reflection same as angle of incidence.

The reflected ray (if is parallel to principal axis ) passes through focus.

Produce C to P. CP will act as normal. Then by laws of reflection, ∠i=∠r.
