what are reactants? plz help me

Answer:

A substance that takes part in a chemical reaction and forms products is termed as a reactant

Example : NaOH + HCl = NaCl + H20( water )

here NaCl and HCl are reactants

I was not having arrows so I used equal sign in above reaction
