here is your answer !!!
reactant : -
reactant are those substance which combine to form new product.
reactant participate in chemical reaction for making new product for example :-
2 Mg + O2 ==> 2 MgO
here in upper reaction magnesium and oxygen is reactant.
reactant combine to form product with new chemical property
=====.
product :-
product at that chemical substance which is formed by combining of two or more than reactant.
in product there is formation of new substance with new properties.
here example of product is:-
2Mg+ O2 ===> 2MgO
in this up reaction magnesium oxide is product of magnesium and oxygen ( rectant )
hope it helps you dear friend !!
thanks !!

Hey there !!
Here’s your answer :
Basic definition of the terms :
Reactants are the substances involved in a chemical reaction to give one or more than one different products.
Products are substances that are formed as a result of a chemical reaction.
How to identify the reactants and products from a chemical equation ?
The reactants will be the substances on the left-hand side of the equation, whereas the products will be the substances on the right-hand side of the equation.For example :
Zn + H₂SO₄ ——> ZnSO₄ + H₂
Here, Zn and H₂SO₄ are the reactants ; ZnSO₄ and H₂ are the products.
Hope this helps ya ✌️✌️
