Non-reducing sugars do not have an OH group attached to the anomeric carbon so they cannot reduce other compounds. All monosaccharides such as glucose are reducing sugars

The Non-reducing sugars do not contain OH group.

It is not attached to the anomeric carbon so they do not reduce other compunds.

All the monosacchrides like glucose are considered as reducing sugar.

Maltose and Lactose is reducing sugar and sucrose is non-reducing sugar.

Disacchrides can be reducing as well as non-reducing sugar
