Answer:

\huge{\boxed{Regular \: Reflection }}

It is a type of reflection when Incident ray is sent back to the same media after being incident on a smooth surface.

This type of reflections produce clear images. They follow the rules of reflection.

Examples:

  • Reflection from mirror

\huge{\boxed{Irregular \: Reflection }}

It is a type of reflection where the incident ray is sent back to the same medium after being incident on a rough surface.

Reflection from rough surface lead to formation of convergent or divergent reflected rays .

This leads to formation of hazy, blurred images.

But they also follow rules of reflection with respect to the point of incidence.

Examples:

  • Reflection from unpolished mirrors
  • Reflection from car body.

Answer:

Regular Reflection:

It is light reflection. It occur on the smooth surfaces like mirror.Specular reflection is also called as Regular reflection .It is mirror like reflection of waves , such as light ,from a surface. It is when the parallel rays of light fall on a smooth surface and reflect pallerly .

Irregular reflection :

In irregular reflection,the parallel beam of light does not remain parallel after reflection. It occur on the rough surfaces like stone,wood etc..no image formation takes place in irregular reflections.
