There are some constituencies or electoral areas which are reserved or specially marked for the candidates from the backward classes of the society. Also there are some seats for women candidates.

There are a total of 84 seats which have been marked as reserved seats out of 543 seats.

This has been done keeping in mind the radical oppression that their past generations had suffered.

It is an attempt to bring everyone to a level of equality and oneness.
