Matters which are not included in any of the three lists are known asresiduary subjects and the right to make laws on these subjects is calledresiduary power. The central government (the Parliament) has been given rights to legislate on thesesubjects.Example of residuary subjects are software, hardware, etc.

▶The Centre and the Parliament are given the privilege to make laws on it.
