☆ Restriction enzyme:-- It is the enzyme which is used to cut the DNA fragment into small fragments.

Restriction enzymes have two properties useful in rdna tech. :--->

1.) They cut DNA into fragments of a size suitable for cloning.
2.) Many restriction enzymes make staggered cuts that create single- stranded sticky ends conducive to the formation of rDNA.
