Ribosomes: They are the smallest cell organelles, without a membrane, present freely or attached to the RER ( rough endoplasmic reticulum) . Present both in cytoplasm as well as inside nucleus where it is called nucleolus. Ribosomes are present in all cells.

Nature : Living , dense , spherical bodies composed mainly of ribo - nucleic acid.

Occurrence : Plant and animal cells. occur freely into the matrix or remain attached to E.R (endoplasmic reticulum).
