The igneous rocks also are known as volcanic rock are formed due to the solidification of molten magma.

This is also known as the solidification of lava.

There are two types of igneous rocks, the extrusive igneous rocks, and the intrusive igneous rocks.

The extrusive igneous rocks take less time to cool and solidify as compared to the intrusive igneous rock.
