Rogue Planets:-

Rogue Planets are the wandering planets or the starless planets which do not orbit any star. They were formed in a similar way to stars but were thrown out of their planetary systems. They are not gravitationally bound to any star.

A galaxy can have billions of such planets but they are hard to find as they do not reflect much light due to their location far away from any star. Our Milky Way probably has billions of such planets.

Examples - OTS 44, S Ori 52, etc.
