rational numbers are the collection of integers,fractions and their negatives.
they can be written in the form p/q where p a d q are integers and q is not equal to 0.
they are eithi non-terminating recurring or terminating.they are a part of real numbers.
1,2,3,4 and 5 are 5 positive rational numbers and -1,-2,-3,-4 and -5 are 5 negative rational numbers.0 is the only rational number which is neither positige nor negative.
there are infinite rational numbers between any 2 rational numbers.
