In this rule all the kings have to send troops whenever Britishers needed.

Shrinfarhana: i want more rules like 5
Chotuaman312: Wrong answer
Chotuaman312: In subsidiary alliance King cannot have there own army. They were provided with troops by Britishers. But in this they have to pay revenue to the Britishers and if the king will not be able to pay, his half empire will be taken by britishers

The ruler who accepts the subsidiary alliance should house the British troop and spend to keep up the troop. If he fails to keep up he should give away his throne to the British. A British official called Resident will stay at the rulers court to look whether he is looking after the troop correctly or not. All the non-English people will be expelled from the Tyler's

Shrinfarhana: non english people means Indians
nirumala66: Not Indians. Other foreign people. There was silly mistake while typing-foreigns had gone.
nirumala66: At the end the word ''ruler's kingdom'' became Tyler's.
