Scalar quantity has magnitude only
Example speed
Vector quantity has both magnitude and direction.
Example velocity

Pranav2213: Can you give me five examples for each please
Hannah10301: Yes.. Sure
Hannah10301: Scalar- mass time distance speed work energy power temperature angle
Hannah10301: Vector - displacement velocity acceleration force linear momentum impulse
Hannah10301: Mark it as the brainliest!! If possible

Scalar quantities are those which needs only magnitude to specify them completely..

It does not require direction although it may have it.. But it follows the laws of ordinary algebra
Example mass and time

Vector quantities are those which needs both magnitude and direction to specify it completely.. And along with it it must follow the laws of vector algebra..
Example : displacement, velocity , force ,acceleration, Etc.
