Diseases or infections which are transmitted through sexual intercourse with the infected person are collectively called STDs.
Examples. Hepatitis-B Sym: Weakness and Fatigue, Nausea and vomiting.
Genital Herpes Sym: Itching, burning, sores.
People don't go to a doctor because they think that it's awkward or it'll go away by itself or it's not a big issue.Std is high among the age group of 15-24.Std can be prevented by safe sex, avoid sharing of needles with a infected person.

Diseases caused by having erotic interactions are known as STDs e.g. HIV infection, Gonorrhea, syphilis, candidiasis etc. Though there is no age limit yet STDs are more prevalent among the age group 20 to 24 years of age. STDs take place whenever an individual interacts with an affected individual.
Prevention
Turn away from sexual relations with unfamiliar persons
Practice harmless sex by usage of condoms
