self help groups or shgs is to enable the rural poor especially woman to get timely loans at a reasonable rate of interest without the requirement of a collateral

SGS are small groups of rural people who organised to collect their small savings rupees 25 to rupees hundred members can take small loans from the group itself at reasonable rates of interest once The Sims become regular the shgs can take a loan from a bank to create self employment opportunities for members loans can be taken for a variety of such as releasing mortgage and working capital needs for buying acids like cattle machinery for buying housing material

group members take all diseases regarding the Savings and loan activities even the payment of the loan is responsibility of the group

shgs help women to overcome the problem of lack of collateral not only help women become financially self reliant but also provide a platform to discuss social issues like health nutrition domestic violence Etc
