To be able to do this we have to take the help of the basic definitions of similar figures that are given in mathematics. We can say that two figures that have the same shape are said to be similar. And, when two figures are similar, then the ratio of the lengths of their corresponding sides are equal. Some of the examples of the similar figures are given as below.
