Answer:

Contact metamorphism is a type of metamorphism where rock minerals and texture are changed, mainly by heat, due to contact with magma. Regional metamorphism is a type of metamorphism where rock minerals and texture are changed by heat and pressure over a wide area or region.

Answer:Contact  is a type of metamorphism where rock minerals and texture are changed, mainly by heat due to contact with magma. Regional metamorphism is a type of metamorphism where rock minerals and texture are changed by ,heat and pressure over a wide area or region.

Step-by-step explanation:

Contact metamorphism is the formation of a metamorphic rock, due to the contact of magma. The contact of magma , that  causes a sudden change in temperature of an existing rock. Generally, the term contact metamorphism refers ,to changes that take place when magma is injected into a solid rock. At the boundary where the rock comes into contact with the magma there is a very high temperature.

Regional metamorphism is a type of metamorphism where, the formation of a metamorphic rock occurs in a wide area. This type of metamorphism occurs with rocks ,that are buried deep down the Earth’s crust. Generally, this metamorphism technique is associated with plate boundaries and formation of mountains ranges.

Dynamic Metamorphism also occurs because of mountain-building. These huge forces of heat and pressure cause the rocks to be bent, folded, crushed, flattened, and sheared.
