SIMILATIES IN HALOGEN FAMILY :
* F, Cl, Br, I, At are the elements belonging to halogen family..
* they are nonmetals
* they have highest electron affinity
* they have highest electronegativity
* they have least size in their periods
* they have 7 electrons in their valence shell
* they all belong to the VIIA group of the periodic table
* they have very low melting and boiling point
* they become darker when you go down the group
* All are oxidizing agents and reacts vigorously with alkali metals...
