soil resource is a source which is obtained from the soil like some minerals.

when root takes water from the soil it is also taking soil resources. soil resources are mostly helpful for plants as they need water from the soil and then they get soil resources then it helps us to get food from them. manure is added to soil to improve soil resources and then the plants use them and give us food. so this way soil resources are not only helpful for plants they fertilise the soil and then the minerals are taken by the plants and then they give us food and thus it is helpful for animals, plants and humans.
