Water consists of dissolved oxygen and carbon dioxide which helps in the respiration of the frogs. The second thing is their skin is adapted in such a way that it suits the environmental conditions.

Frogs that spend more time in water have long, very strong legs. They use these legs for jumping and swimming long distances, mostly to escape from predators or catch prey.
