Answer:

What are the challenges you think the next generation will face?

With the rapid nature of our growth coupled with the many thresholds for events to occur (as opposed to those which gradually manifest) it is very difficult to say exactly what the next generation will face so I have listed things I think the next generation to about the next 5 generations will have to face.

1 - Clean Drinking water being unavailable in most place and priced like petrol in others.

2 - 12+ billion people and less opportunity by a ratio of 10, as well as resource depletion like oil drying up.

3 - Oil drying up causing atrocity on a global scale at the hands of those breathing blobs of feces that run the oil companies as they are tasked with squeezing the last drops of it out of the planet for the ultra wealthy.

4 - Food chain collapse in the ocean leading to food chain collapse on land.

5 - A major nuclear or bio-weaponry terrorist event but thats not the challenge. The challenge will be NOT putting power into the hands of opportunistic scumbag politicians that will try and use the tragic event for their own gain

6 - Lethal friction between the “haves” and the “have nots”

7 - Con men who disingenuously promise the moon in order to get elec- oh, wait, that one is a little ahead of schedule.

8 - Climate change disrupting the natural order that we have been made accustomed to, such as which areas can grow crops and which areas will be barren.

9 - Lack of opportunity coupled with a clear image of what extinction might look like for our species causing a pandemic of depression and misdirected anger manifesting as regular mass murderers, rioting, increase in the amount of shut ins, and a jaw dropping increase in suicides.

10 - People complaining about high taxes all the way up to the collapse of their regional governments and the public executions of political leaders; that is to say: haters gonna hate plus desperate times call for desperate measures equals a vision of the future..

These are just the tip of the ice berg…though conisdering #1, “ice berg” is really the wrong metaphor to use
