What are some comparison and similarties of the Buddhism and hindusim religions?

Similarities-

1.) Both owe lot to Upanishads. Both religions borrowed Theory of Karma, Rebirth and Meditation from Upanishads.

2.) Like Hinduism, Buddhist also have Good tradition of Yoga..Though Buddhist focused more on Meditation than on Yoga.

3.) Symbol Om is sacred to both religions.

4.) Buddhism is agnostic religion similarly four Hindu schools out of Six are Atheistic or have a very little place for God. But all these school have been died now/or followed by very few people.

5) Buddhism accepts only Two means of Knowledge i.e Perception and Inference, so the Vaisheshika school of Hinduism.

6.) Both believe that ultimate aim of human life is to get Nirvana.

Difference-

1.) Though four out of six Hindu schools do not believe in God but in reality majority of Hindus are theistic. Similarly Buddhism denied God but many Buddhist see Buddha as God.

2.) Buddhist want Nirvana because this world is full of sorrow, But Hindu want Nirvana because they want to merge with ultimate reality that is God.

3.) Buddhism has very few mythological texts but Hindus always find solace in Mythology.

4.) Buddhist do not believe there is some thing like soul but Hindu believe that there is soul or pure essence in human which is similar to God.

5.) Hinduism has more tendency to worship God than Buddhist.

6.) Fullness to Emptiness- Buddhist believe that ultimate reality is empty but Hindu believe that ultimate reality is Brahman and Brahman is full
