There are many consequences of deforestation. Some of them are:
→Global warming: Trees reduces the overall temperature of Earth's atmosphere.
→Landslides: Roots of trees are very efficient to prevent landslides or soil erosion.
→Water scarcity: moisture capacity will reduce win soil.

Deforestation can be prevented by growing more number of trees than we are cutting.
The government should also try to avoid cutting old trees during construction.
