  • to openly say, there is no way to minimise the damage caused by a storms but some measures can be taken by the government.
  1. issue a evacuation warning before a storm hits.
  2. all transport and jobs related to seas should be temporarily restricted
  3. if you're already stuck in a storm, then get under something solid and protect your head
  4. if in open fields, then lay down flat and cover your head. laying down in low lying areas is more safer
  5. never stay inside a car during a storm.

*Natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, typhoons, and hurricanes inflict serious damage and so seem to be bad for the economy. For firms, natural disasters destroy tangible assets such as buildings and equipment – as well as human capital – and thereby deteriorate their production capacity.

*Mitigation. Mitigation (prevention) is the effort to reduce loss of life and property by lessening the impact of disasters. This is achieved through risk analysis, which results in information that provides a foundation for mitigation activities that reduce risk, and flood insurance that protects financial investment.

**7 Ways to Reduce Vulnerability and Prepare for Disaster:

1.Knowledge. Know the hazards in your area, know your vulnerabilities, and know your risk.

2.Integration. A widespread and strong social network can be very helpful to you during and after a disaster.

3.Trust

4.Subsistence

5.Mobility

6.Impact Avoidance

7.Adaptability
