- No candidates/political parties would permit their followers to use the building, land, wall, compound, vehicle sans the the property owner's permission for putting up banners, pasting pamphlets, writing slogans,displaying party flags, and so on.
- Prior approval from the local authorities/police must be requested before candidates/political parties hold a meeting in some location so that the necessary traffic & other appropriate arrangements are made.
- If a candidate/political party is going to plan the procession, then he/she must notify the appropriate authority (in terms of its duration, the procession route, the start of the procession and the finishing of the procession).
- The ministers of the ruling party must not utilise govt machinery such as govt staff, vehicles, govt buildings while campaigning for elections. The ruling party also does not have a "monopoly" over helipads, aircraft, & public places, and the opposition candidates/political parties are also allowed to utilise them subject to the same conditions as that which the ruling party is following.
- Candidates/political parties must make sure that the "identity slip" provided to to the voters on the polling day is printed on the white plain paper. The Slip must not have a symbol/name of any the candidate/political party.
- Before campaigning, no advertisements would be written or broadcast by print or other form of media at the expense of public exchequer. The government's successes should not be disseminated by other newspapers. The Ministers & other officials shall not approve payments/grants from allocated funds until the day the commission schedules the results.
