Sporozoans are infective spores produced by several parasitic protozoans. They have complex life cycles involving both sexual and asexual reproduction. They are responsible for causing diseases such as malaria and cryptosporidiosis. They were formerly classified in class Sporozoa, but now classified as apicomplexans.

Sporozoans are the non locomotory organisms & are a type of protozoan protists.

All the sporozoans are endoparasitic meaning that they live inside their host and harm them.

These are the infectious spores which are also terms notorious due to their infection causing feature.

Ex. Plasmodium which causes malaria & has a staggering effect on humans.
