Following are the steps to be followed for the construction of triangle ABC:

(a) Draw a line segment AB = 6cm

(b) Ax is the ray that needs to be passed from A such that angle BAX is equal to 50 degrees

(c) To draw an arc on Ax, consider A as a vertex and 8cm as the radius

(d) C is the point that is obtained on Ax

(e) Join BC

(f) ABC is the required triangle.

Steps of Construction:

(1) Draw a line AB = 6 cm.

(2) compasses and taking B as centre, draw an arc of 8 cm radius.

(3) With A as centre, draw an arc of 4 cm radius, which cuts the previous arc at C.

(4) Join AC and BC.
