a cell whose energy can be renewed by passing a current through it in the direction opposite to that of the flow of current generated by the cell.

Cells that is reversible .Means in storage cell during charging electrical energy converts into chemical energy and get stored in the cell and when we want to use this cell the chemical energy stored get converted into electrical energy.
It can provide low as well as high current.
example:- lead accumulator battery that is used in car.
