JEach shell is made up of a number ofsubshells. Subshells contain orbitals, which can each hold up to two electrons. Different types of subshells hold different numbers of orbitals. The first four types ofsubshells are called s, p, d, and f.

.

A orbit is a circular trajectory for electrons in which they can move around the nucleus givn by bohr but orbitals are three dimensionals, so how can orbitals are contained in orbits....

correct

Answer:

Electrons orbit the nucleus of an atom at different ranges, called shells. Each shell has a different energy level, increasing the further it is from the nucleus. Each energy level is given a number called the principal quantum number, n. The closest shell has a value of n=1.
