Synthetic fabrics are textiles made from man-made rather than natural fibers. Some examples of synthetic fabrics are polyester, acrylic, nylon, rayon, acetate, spandex, latex and Kevlar. Synthetic fibers are made by the joining of monomers into polymers, by the process of polymerization.
