\bf \underline{ \underline{\maltese \: Synthetic \:  fibres} }

Fibres which are obtained through many chemical processes in the industry are known as human made or synthetic fibres. Synthetic fibres are prepared using raw materials of petroleum origin called petrochemical. Rayon, nylon, terylene, etc., are some human made or synthetic fibres.

\sf \underline{ \underline{\maltese \: Uses \:  of \:  synthetic \:  polymers} }

 \bf  \implies \red{ Nylon} :

Due to high tensile strength of the nylon fibre, it is used for making fishing nets, climbing ropes, parachute fabrics, strings for sports racquets and musical instruments bristles for toothbrushes and paint brushes.

 \bf  \implies \red{ Acrylic } :

The wool obtained from natural sources is quite expensive whereas cloth made from acrylic fibre is related with cheap. Acrylic fibres are used for making jackets, sweater and blankets etc.

 \bf  \implies \red{ Polyester } :

Polyester fibres (like terylene) are used for manufacturing sari, dresses materials, curtains, etc. It is also usee for making sails for sailboats.
