What are tachyons? Or say tachyonic particles do they exist ?

A tachyon (/ˈtækiɒn/) or tachyonic particle is a hypothetical particle thatalways travels faster than light. Most physicists believe that faster-than-lightparticles cannot exist because theyare not consistent with the known laws of physics
