temporary hardness of water is caused due to calcium and magnesium bicarbonate...

It can easily be removed by boiling water...

When u boil water it forms scum and thus is easily removed

Which hardness is caused by magnesium bicarbonate and calcium bicarbonate is called temperary hardness .It can be “softened” by boiling or adding lime to it in a process called Lime softening .
