You can make a temporary magnet by stroking a piece of iron or steel (such as a needle) along a permanent magnet. There is another way that uses electricity to makea temporary magnet, called an electromagnet. Let's build one!

Temporary magnets are those ferromagnetic substance or magnets which acts as magnets only in strong magnetic field and they behaves like magnet only in strong magnetic field but not in absence of fields. some examples of temporary magnets are iron nails, Thor and other ferromagnetic substances. you can make a temporary magnet by passing electricity to those substance or by rubbing them on magnet. Simply by placing a strong permanent magnet beside a steel nail will cause the nail to have a stronger magnetic field and behave like a temporary magnet.here nail is referred as temporary magnet.
