Tenses

Tense is defined as the form of verb that gives relations between Action and Time.

As we know that work done is action and duration of work is time.

There are three tenses-

1. Present tense (now)

2. Past tense (time which have passed)

3. Future tense (time that is yet to come)

More details :-

Simple Present tense

(i) Affirmative sentences rules

  • singular subject + verb1 + (e/es) + object
  • plural subject + verb1 + object

eg.

They play kno kho in the ground.

She advise me not to talk.

(ii) Negative sentences rules

  • singular subject + does not + verb1 + object
  • plural subject + do not + verb1 + object

eg.

We do not smoke.

He does not write a letter to his friend.

(iii) Interrogative sentences rules-

  • Do/Does + subject + verb1 + (e/es) + object?
  • Question word + do/does + subject + verb1 + object?

eg.
