Testies⤵️

=> They are the primary male reproductive organ

=> They produce sperms(male gametes)

=> They are present outside the body of male to provide 1 - 2° lesser temperature required for the production of sperms.

=> They are present inside the bag called scrotum.

=> Also Testis produce male reproductive hormone called testosterone required for bringing changes during puberty.

•The human male reproductive system consists of testes, penis, scrotum and sperm ducts.

•The male parent has sex organ called testes which produce male sex cell called sperm.

•A testis is made up of numerous coiled tubes that produce sperm cells.

#⃣The following are the functions of testis⤵️

1⃣ Male gametes called spermatozoa are produced by the testis through the process of spermatogenesis.

2⃣ The leydig cells of the seminiferous tubules of testis produces male sex hormone called testosterone. Testosterone in addition to the process of spermatogenesis also helps in the development of secondary sexual characteristics in males.

3⃣ Produce sperms, which contain haploid set of chromosomes of father.
