The two main groups of Russia are Chuvash and Chechen who made the most of the population in Russia. Along with them Armenians and Orthodox Christians also made their contribution as a widespread religion in Russia.

Chuvash people are the ethnic group of Turkic people. Their native area stretched out from Volga region to Siberia.  

Chechen are a Northeast Caucasian ethnic group people. They call themselves as Vainakhs. Most of their population stretched along the Chechen republic in Russian federation.
