What are the 2 main functions of general Assembly ?

Here is your answer,

1) The General Assembly regulates the writing of the other organs of the UN.It considers annual and special reports which are received from the Security Council.

2) Secondly, It approves the budget of the UN. UN expences are brone by members as apportioned by the General Assembly.

1.The organs must send reports to the General Assembly where these are analyzed and reviewed, if necessary the General Assembly then may issue recommendations on the matters.

2.It is the only organ where all members are equally represented and it is lead by the Secretary General.

3.The Assembly votes on subjects brought to the agenda and may decide by a simple majority or two-thirds majority depending on the question. Once a decision has been made, the Assembly issues "General Assembly Resolutions".

4.Yet the topics discussed may not be those already in discussion by the UN Security Council for the Assembly deals mostly with social, cultural and administrative topics rather than conflicts per se.

5.The General Assembly works as the main body of the United Nations and is in charge of assuring it's functioning.
