Birbal was among the nine gems of Akbar’s court who achieved himself the honor of being the main commander to the court’s army.
Explanation:
His original name was Mahesh Das who once came to visit the Akbar’s court but was stopped at the gate asking for gold coin to visit, he promised to hand over half of the prize won inside the court and this way he got entry to visit court. And he asked for punishment as a prize and told the whole story as the reason behind, since then he earned the title of Birbal or rather Raja Birbal known for his acuity and humor.
